Perspective
One thing that’s terribly important to me is honesty and connectivity. This space has been able to provide that for me, I’ve been able to honestly express my thoughts, opinions, self-centered actualizations, and also, my quirks. I’ve also been able to establish some really fantastic conversations about where my life has taken me and how it mirrors other’s stories. Some might find this interesting, but perhaps not…but I’m not really here to be interesting…I’m here to be honest and to connect.
I tend to write about what’s swirling through my head, because I’m the type that while driving home wonders who invented the pencil and how our world would be changed without it. I also write about religion, theology, sociology, and occasionally psychology. These interest me and have been my framework for much of my life, and I’m still trying to figure out just how exactly they fit. I would rather struggle while wrestling with the divine than blindly regurgitate doctrine, even if it means some people that I love think I will go to Hell. Most of my religious posts play jump rope with being sacrilegious.
I also post poetry and pictures of my nephews because they are three things that I love.
An atheist, a preacher, and a Bible class
The blind man and the poor swimmer
The purple bug and conversations on fasting
Lessons on moving out of hatred, from someone who’s still stuck there.
